From my early days as a Caseworker for Victim Support, offering emotional and practical support to victims of crime, through to working in an NHS Mental Health team; over the years many of my voluntary and paid roles seemed to pave an inevitable path towards training as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist. Since then I have counselled clients in a wide variety of settings ranging from NHS clinics to Mental Health charities and community teams, and have been fortunate enough to build a solid skill set in helping people work through and overcome their emotional obstacles in life.
Since 2012 I have worked as a Counsellor and subsequently as a Clinical Supervisor from my base in Basingstoke. Additionally I also hold a variety of positions and professional accreditation’s, both locally and nationally, in order to ensure that I remain aware of the latest Counselling research and best practice guidelines.
